Why is there so much focus on the arts on this site?
My history lies in dance and performing arts. I taught dance for 25 years. I love to choreograph music and movement together in such a way that it all blends creatively. I loved teaching. As a former dance teacher, it was always a goal of mine to help students to:
understand terminology,
to understand how their bodies work, and
to teach them how to push limits to make their bodies do things that they did not know were possible.
I have reaped many rewards as a dance teacher over the years. The ultimate reward was seeing my former students succeed long after they had grown and developed into beautiful dancers. I can honestly say that I have touched the lives of students who now:
work with national dance companies
who are on national Broadway tours
who have worked with some of the greatest names in the dance world.
It is satisfying to know that I played a role in my students’ lives, no matter how big or small. I always encouraged my students to follow their dreams and live passionately, as I do myself. I love watching people grow and develop.
You may be asking, “How does dance relate to finance?”
Just like teaching dance, there is an art to money and finance. There is a finesse to learning and understanding all the ways in which we can help money have the potential to grow and work. There is choreography in making numbers dance, and there is an art to providing money the potential to perform for us.
It continues to be a goal of mine to help educate, grow, and push boundaries toward the potential for favorable outcomes. My greatest reward as a financial professional is knowing that I have helped my clients achieve success in their goals, and that I have touched lives, not only now, but for generations. These reasons make me proud and excited to do the work that I do and motivate me to help as many people as I can.
